GLENFIDDICH 12 YEARS OLD 40.0% 0.7l, Glenfiddich, near Dufftown in the Shottischen Speyside, is one of the last (really big) distilleries that is still family-owned to date. Since it was founded in 1886, the distillery in the Valley of the Deer has been owned by the Grant family in the fifth generation.

The company was the first to open its doors to the public in 1969 and has since been visited by over 3 million inquisitive whiskey lovers. Right from the start, the whiskey is made with spring water from the Robbie Dhu spring. Today Glenfiddich is the only distillery that uses fresh water from the same source for all process steps. The whiskey matures in selected American bourbon and Spanish sherry barrels. This is what makes Glenfiddich so soft, slightly fruity and balanced for 12 years.
